Las Vegas with Kids

Las Vegas, NV

When you think of taking a family trip with your kids, no one ever thinks of Vegas. The drinking, gambling, and partying isn't really their scene. But surprisingly after moving to Vegas in 2018, we found there is actually a ton of places to see and things to do with your kiddos. Here is a list a some of the places we love to take the kids too in Las Vegas. (I will continue to add to this list as we explore more of our city).

XOXO,

Kelly

Bellagio Botanical Gardens

The gardens at the Bellagio are so beautiful. They change it up about 4-5 times a year based on the season. There are thousands of flowers used to make all the statues which is pretty cool. Love this place during Christmas time.

SeaQuest

We love going to SeqQuest with the boys. It's a great sensory experience for them and they get to run around looking at all the animals. They have way more than sea creatures too, like a Toucan and a Sloth. Really cute place for the kids to learn about different animals.

Sunset Park

We love this park because it's so BIG! You can have a picnic, watch the ducks and geese in the pond, or play tennis. There is a ton of things to do at this park include brand new jungle gyms installed for the kiddos. We love going here and watching the airplanes fly over us and land at the airport across the street.

Treasure Island Pirate Ships

They used to do a Pirate show here, but stopped doing it a few years back. Now you can just walk the boardwalk and check out the huge pirates ships docked there. It's still a pretty fun place to check out.

Museum of Natural History

This Museum is a little dated but it has a really cool dinosaur exhibit. They have large moving dinosaurs through the exhibit and you can even interact with virtual dinosaurs on a projector screen. A fun place for kids to escape the Vegas heat.

Seven Magic Mountains

Open to the public, this art installation in the middle of the desert is a super fun place for kids to see. There are giant rocks that are painted really vibrant colors that are towering over you. Keep in mind, there are no bathrooms and it can get really hot so make sure to bring water and snacks.

Bellagio Fountain Show

The fountain show has been going on for a really long time in Vegas and they change it up every once in a while. It's a fun 5 minute water show that goes with the music and they play it throughout the day. The boys loved watching the water shoot high in the sky, so it's worth a quick stop.

Neon Museum

This place is so COOL. You can see all the old school Las Vegas neon signs that are no longer lining the strip. The boys loved seeing all the lights too. It's a pretty quick trip with lots of neon lights to see. If you have time don't miss this place.

Open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 7:00am-10:00am.

This is such a cute place to go for seasonal activities. You can pick your own product and during different seasons they have different things to do for the kids. For example, during the fall they have a Hayride and pumpkins for sale.
