It's that time of year where you start busting out all the swim gear and head out to soak up all that vitamin D. It's no different here at the Belliston household, but with a baby on the way and daddy working his butt off before he goes on leave, we wanted to make our backyard our family's perfect getaway. So of course we went to Walmart to check out the best options for some Backyard Fun for the whole family to enjoy. Check out what we decided on!
Creating a Playground at Home
So now that we have baby #3 coming any time now, getting out to the park with the boys might not be as easy an option anymore. I really wanted to have a space in our yard that the boys could run around, climb, slide, and swing any time they wanted. We found an amazing ROLLBACK deal at Walmart with the KidKraft Ainsley Wooden Swing Set/ Playset. This Swing Set has two swings, a large slide, a chalkboard wall, and even a space under it to put a sand pit. When I tell you the boys are obsessed with this set, that is an understatement. I thought I would need to purchase separate bucket seats for the swings, but these guys proved me wrong and did so amazing on the swings. Now when baby sister comes, the boys will still be able to have some outside fun even if we can't make it to the Park.
We also picked up a few other fun items to enjoy this summer like the Play Day Toss & Catch Game Set, Giant Jumbling Tower Party Game, and some pool toys too!
Pool Toys and Summer Outfits
With the weather during the summer here in Las Vegas in the 100s on a daily basis, sometimes the only place to cool off is in the water. Luckily we have a pool and now that the boys will have more access to our backyard, we will be putting up our pool fence again for safety reasons. When we do use the pool though, we will have some fun new pool toys to play with. We picked up the Packed Party 'Spot The Fun' Inflatable Lounger and the Justice 24" Beach Ball with Glitter Fill. I also picked up the SwimFix Baby and Toddler Boy Long Sleeve Rashguard Set for the twins to wear to protect them from the sun while they are in the pool with us & these fun Justice Blue Cheetah and Blue Tie Dye 2-Pack Bath Towels. With the warm weather here and the baby on the way, I wanted to have our home become the perfect place for us to enjoy. It will definitely take a ton of stress off of me know that the boys can now have some outdoor fun at home. Not having to worry about loading all 3 kiddos in the car and lugging a stroller out to the park is exactly what I need.
