I was never really an outdoor person growing up. My idea of a fun vacation is an all-inclusive with spa services 😝. Insert my husband Wade... Wade grew up in a small town in Utah called Nephi. There he was an Eagle Scout, had horses, and traveled to places like the Amazon Rainforest. I'm not going to lie, even with Wade being the adventurer he is, I am still a bit of a wimp when it comes to the real outdoors. Camping has always been something Wade has wanted to do as a family and with the right equipment I think I could survive.

We took advantage of the great deals Walmart has to offer on their outdoor items and they didn't disappoint! We were able to get this OZARK TRAIL 4 PERSON DOME TENT with great ventilation for less than $50! It was a great find and has plenty of room to fit our entire family even when the baby comes. With a few more items like a Full Size Air Mattress and some OFF! Deep woods bug repellent I think I could make it through a few nights in the middle of nowhere.

The boys would have a blast as long as there are piles of dirt to drive their monster trucks through, they'll be in toddler paradise. I guess I am the only high maintenance one in the family, so grabbing that COLEMAN® CLASSIC PROPANE GAS CAMPING STOVE for some hot homestyle meals was a must. I am not the type that will be able to live off of trail mix and "Keto Snacks" like my husband can 😆. We'll be waiting until the baby comes to decide when and where we want to really camp, but I'm already going to call dibs on the OZARK TRAIL OUTDOOR TENSION CAMP 2 IN 1 ROCKING CHAIR which will be perfect for nursing little Naomi.

Now although I am not the biggest outdoor person, I do love a good hike and I am actually really excited for that part of camping; the sleeping outdoors part not so much. It's been over 100 degrees here in Las Vegas so we will have to wait until it cools down a bit more before we venture out as a family, but we're hoping it will be the start of many outdoor adventures as a family. Luckily Walmart has everything we need to make sure this mama is comfortable on any outdoor excursions.
